“There is a simple way to discover under-appreciated blogs and help them reach the audience they deserve,” says Chuck Westbrook.
The way to do that is Chuck’s large group of nice bloggers who believe in helping good content get noticed. Every two weeks a good but lesser-known blog (or blogs) is chosen and thrown to the lions introduced to Chuck’s newly-assembled community.
The first blog chosen for the project was Zoe Westhof’s Essential Prose. Zoe saw a dramatic increase in traffic as she shared with the group her delightful personality and taught us creative types how to focus our ideas.
Now Chuck introduces Richard Millington, sharp thinker, Seth Godin intern, and online community builder extraordinaire. His blog is FeverBee.
“The main difference between my blog and the blogs of others is the focus on people,” says Richard regarding his community building blog. “I don’t spend much time talking about the technology involved, I write about motivating people to participate.”
Richard has prepared a welcoming post – “When A Stampede Knocks At Your Door” – which includes links to some of his favorite posts. All are worth your time, whether building a community, promoting a blog, or organizing a civic group.
It looks like Chuck’s picked another winner.
