Suite101.com announces the result of their search for a new editor-in-chief. Web professional and veteran journalist Colin Smith has been chosen to take the helm.
“I am honored to join the Suite101 team,” says Smith. “Our writers cover a fascinating array of subjects, and 12 million site visitors a month means there’s always something useful, entertaining to read at Suite101.com.”
Smith intends to build on the company’s past successes and make a variety of improvements to the site. The focus for 2009 is creating opportunities for writers. Site development, marketing, and communications will reflect this new focus.
Suite101 is currently looking for new contributors.
