Sarah Jessica Parker Brings Art to Reality Television

Actress and producer Sarah Jessica Parker (Footloose, Sex and the City) is collaborating with producer Eli Holzman (Project Runway) on an art-based reality show for cable television.

Thirteen artists will compete in a variety of mediums for a cash prize, a gallery exhibition and a sponsored national tour. The created works will be judged by a panel of industry experts and peers.

Show producers are searching for emerging or mid-career artists working in painting, sculpture, installation, video, photography and/or mixed-media. Open casting calls are scheduled for July at the following locations:

• Los Angeles — 10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 11-12 at LA><ART
• Miami — 10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 14 at the Fredric Snitzer Gallery
• Chicago — 10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 16 at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Sullivan Galleries
• New York — 10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 18-19 at White Columns
