When I returned last Saturday to creating a weekly comic strip after some time away from it, I discovered some improvements at Stripgenerator.com.
I started this project with Stripgenerator because it was the most useful of the online comics generators that I knew of at the time. Shortly afterwards, Clive Goodinson kindly invited me to try the service he created — Pixton.com. I chose to stick with the more familiar comics generator, but I might use Pixton for my next story.
Stripgenerator has always been fun to use, but these new features allow more choices and increase the ease of use. Stripgenerator 1.0.4 offers:
- friending, including object exchange functionality
- blurring and opacity
- grouping
- masking
- increased speed
- a highly useful character/avatar generator
Users are already creating some fascinating stuff. I look forward to playing with the new features.
There’s admittedly not much to this week’s strip. It’s just Gideon, Phurah and Judah waving torches and blowing trumpets. I wanted to show that Phurah still harbors doubts about their mission and set the stage for next week’s strip, where there will be more action.
As always, images are the property of Stripgenerator.com. Click to embiggen, or see the whole series at Amid the Alien Corn.
